The
House of Hope Full Gospel Church was birthed
in the summer of 2003 out of a 3-day revival
at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Baton
Rouge Louisiana. People from all around the Baton
Rouge area came out to the meetings hungry
for an old time Pentecostal Revival, and
that is just what they received. From there,
the meetings moved into the home of Pastors
Steve Chadwick and Rita King-Chadwick. After a short time,
we moved into the building we currently
occupy. We very quickly out grew the first
area we were using to worship in as people
continued to come. One morning while in
prayer, Pastor Steve asked the Lord why
they were coming like they were, and God
spoke to him, “because they have heard
that there is Bread in Bethlehem.” During this time, we remodeled the largest
area in the 8,500 square foot building we
now occupy, and our beautiful new sanctuary
seats approximately 200 to 220 people.
We are continuing to grow as the Lord
adds to the church with Ministry for every
age group. We have many plans and a vision
to see God do great things here in Baton
Rouge, starting first with a strong local
church facilitated in the building shown
on this page. If you live in the Baton
Rouge area and you are looking for a church
that is new, growing and most importantly,
full of the Holy Ghost, then Pastor Steve
and Rita would like to personally invite
you to “come and grow with us.”
